What do you get with some PVC piping, a can of spray paint, baby powder, a couple of q-tips and some dark eyeshadow? A mini grandpa Mohr (aged about 30 years) of course!
That’s right, while everyone else was parading their adorable babies as lions and bunnies we decided to go a different route…a humorous one. Not only does Harper resemble his grandpa quite a bit but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use every old man joke we know at grandpa’s expense. Between the walker that papa lovingly crafted, the old man grimace Harper throws around for laughs and some creativity I think we’ve pulled off our most hilarious halloween costume to date!

And don’t think for a second that Harper was the only one having fun on Halloween! After some family trick or treating and a bite to eat with friends, papa and I dropped Harper off at grandma and grandpa’s and headed out for some fun of a different kind.
Waikiki on Halloween night is what I imagine New Orleans being like during Mardi Gras- -pure craziness! There are hundreds of people lining the streets, shoulder to shoulder in some of the most creative, scandalous and hilarious costumes you can ever imagine. If you’re a Halloween lover you’ve got to find a way out here to celebrate next year! Here is a glimpse as to what the streets were like:
As for our costumes? When I mentioned we were dressing as the perfect husband and wife did you picture something along these lines?
Half 50′s housewife – -the baker/conservative/never swears/angel in the kitchen and half sex goddess complete with lingerie, thigh highs and sexy tussled bedhead.
As for papa?
Well the perfect husband is the breadwinner, has slick backed hair and a perfectly tailored suit while his other half is the playful, romantic, sexy surfer.
